Playing like a Katy Perry song, the whole situation with the Lara Fabian concert seems to be hot one second, cold the next. Is she or isn't she coming to Lebanon? Well, for now, it seems that her two-day Valentine's Day concert is still a go. "Briefly, Fabian and her crew got visas to enter the country, Virgin Megastores are still selling tickets and the billboards on highways have not been removed."

It's not everyday that we hear cute stories here in Al Bawaba, usually ones about increasing death tolls and violence for the most part. So, it's nice to hear this story about Barack and Michelle Obama, one that isn't about public spending or political strife. Whether it is true or not remains to be seen. Still a worthwhile read though. "President Obama then said, 'so if you had married him, you would now be the owner of this lovely restaurant', to which Michelle responded, 'no, if I had married him, he would now be the President.'"
