Alex Riachi: Batal min Zahle

Lebanese Alex Riachi should have entered the book of records by now after he dragged trucks weighting more than 10 tons with his ponytail. The world record is held by an Indian national who has only managed to drag 6.4 tons with his hair. Alex is asking now for an official backing from the President of the Republic Michel Sleiman to enter the Guinness book of world records.

The SLS AMG Electric Drive will be the fastest Mercedes-built gullwinged car ever made… not to say that there is much competition in that realm. The numbers are impressive: 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 250km/h.

The BRZ costs around KD8,500 but is currently very difficult to get a hold of one. The dealer is getting just one more BRZ from now till the end of the year and I think it’s already sold. It’s a pretty fun car that’s affordable and like the Toyota 86 will probably end up selling like hot cakes.

McLaren’s P1 concept takes over where the F1 left off

Then I read that the McLaren P1 concept car is a “design study”. Whatever they say, this is as close to the production model as it gets. The new McLaren does not retain its successor’s 3-seat configuration, nor does it have a mighty BMW V12 in the rear.
