UN Suspends Mission as Syria Becomes Regional Proxy War

The UN is leaving and Russia is sending troops. The Syrian war just got a whole lot bigger and this post has it all "Syrian government forces seized control of the northern town of Haffah on Wednesday after rebels retreated in the face of a withering offensive that saw the army rely heavily on combat helicopters for the first time." 'New Combat Helicopters' are just one example of the outside help Assad's regime is receiving.

Starbucks Increase Their Prices… Coincidentally a Week or so Before Salary Increases…

Starbucks has upped thier prices and one Kuwaiti blogger is steamed and foaming at the mouth "I don’t know about you but I’ve had it with major corporations preying on people with every salary increase… it may not make much of a difference to many people, but to us who are extreme regulars, it’s just plainly disrespectful."
