The Bridgestone ‘Tyre Safety and Eco Station’ roadshow got to Dubai – its final destination - last weekend. Supported by its exclusive local partner – Nasser Bin Abdullatif Alserkal Est., the campaign stopped off at the Mall of the Emirates and run its education and awareness campaign from Thursday 30th June to Friday 1st July.
The GCC roadshow started last February and passed by Oman (Muscat City Centre, 2nd – 4th February), Qatar (City Center Doha, 17th-19th March), Saudi Arabia (Granada Mall, 20th-21st April), Kuwait (Marina Mall, 19th-20th May) and, finally, UAE where it stopped both in Abu Dhabi (Al Wahda Mall, 16th -17th June) and Dubai.
The campaign, developed by Bridgestone Middle East and Africa FZE, aimed to promote Tyre Safety and eco-friendliness for the sustainability of the future and current generations –by increasing awareness on the safety advantages of driving at the correct tyre air pressure and good condition tyres which can greatly help prevent road accidents, save lives, and reduce fuel consumption, which in turn minimizes the environmental impact of a journey, and saves the motorists’ money.
Many children participated and enjoyed the drawing and entertainment activities at the Kids Area of the booth, while their parents learnt how to properly check and maintain their vehicle’s tyres for the safety of the family and other road users. Aside from educating families and drivers about Tyre Safety and Eco-friendliness, participants additionally received Bridgestone Tyre Safety booklet and the Bridgestone Tyre Safety compact gauge as a useful tool in proactively practicing Tyre Safety.
