A new look business jet from Brazil is aiming to attract more Middle East customers at the eighth international aerospace exhibition - Dubai 2003 - being held next month.
Brazil has a rapidly growing reputation for producing aircraft. Embraer has quickly evolved into one of the Latin American giant's biggest export earners and into the major league of aircraft manufacturers alongside Boeing, Airbus and Bombardier in the small airliner market. Its 35-105 seat regional jet family has won major orders from airlines around the world.
Embraer's Legacy corporate jet derivative will be at the Dubai air show to entice more regional customers with around $21 million to spend on a luxury flying machine.
“We have delivered three Legacy aircraft into the Middle East already and discussions are currently taking place for the delivery of three more” said Regional Vice President Middle East for Swift Aviation Group, Tony Fitzpatrick, launch customer and exclusive distributor for the Embraer Legacy corporate jet in the Middle East.
Swift Aviation Group has been actively marketing and selling the Legacy for nearly two years from offices in Bahrain and Dubai. Fitzpatrick is convinced that the Legacy is ideally suited to the region and sales have already proved him right.
To date, exhibitors from 35 countries have contracted for Dubai 2003, which also has 10 national pavilion commitments – including first time group participation from Jordan and Ukraine. — (menareport.com)
