DAMAC Properties, the largest private master developer and luxury lifestyle provider, has appointed International Foundation Group (IFG), Dubai's foremost deep foundation specialists, as the enabling works contractor for Smart Heights project at TECOM. IFG stands as one of the leaders in the field of specialist geotechnical and foundation engineering. Smart Heights is designed by ARCHON Engineering Consultants, an established local firm since 1992, one of the best in the region for designing and supervising high-rise towers. The enabling works at the project commenced this February and the project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2008. DAMAC was also the first to announce an office tower within TECOM with the launch of Executive Heights. The company's second project in TECOM is Smart Heights. "While aiming to diversify the group's activities, we launched DAMAC Properties four years ago, and today, the property company has grown tremendously to become the Middle East's most prominent luxury focused private sector master developer.
