Microsoft South Gulf has commenced a training program for employees of the Ruler’s Court of Dubai that have completed 10 years or more in the government sector. The program provides basic training that covers a wide range of Microsoft desktop applications that are frequently used by employees both at work and home.
Conducted in partnership with Microsoft training partner New Horizons, the program was designed to offer introductory training to employees who may be interested in expanding their IT skills, but have never had the means to undertake training.
The program, entitled ‘Microsoft Packaged Training’, will consist of training in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer and Outlook. The training period is scheduled to last for four weeks and all participants will receive official Microsoft certificates on program completion.
Microsoft opened its Dubai-based Middle East office in 1991, headquartered at Dubai Internet City and is responsible for all aspects of the company’s business in the region, covering the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain Yemen, Lebanon, Jordan, Cyprus, Malta, Egypt and Pakistan. — (menareport.com)
