The Cairo 2000 Euro-Mediterranean Partnership Conference was officially concluded on October 9th. According to Al-Sharq Al- Awsat, the conference resulted a total of 46 contracts, which were signed by European, Arab and Egyptian investors.
These contracts include 12 leather, textile, clothes, furniture and mineral export contracts from Egypt to Europe and four agreements providing Egypt with technical and consulting services to operating European companies in the Mediterranean countries.
The rest of the contracts are related to cooperation in regard to the export of high technologies and transportation. — (Albawaba-MEBG)
