Gulf Air will commence flights to Borg Al-Arab in Alexandria, Egypt and to Mashad in Iran, for the summer season, stated a press release.
“Between 18 June – 14 September, 2003, we will be flying our guests twice weekly directly from Abu Dhabi to this popular Egyptian holiday destination using Airbus A320 aircraft,” said Vice President Network Services of Gulf Air, Fareed Alalawi. “Services to Mashad will operate three times a week from Bahrain, also using Airbus A320 aircraft.”
Gulf Air was founded in 1950. Today, it is owned by the governments of Bahrain, Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and is the only truly pan Gulf airline in the region. The airline’s network extends from Western Europe to Asia and covers 43 cities in 32 countries. — (menareport.com)
