Intel has announced the opening of its office in Morocco, to serve the North Africa region, as Intel continues with its plans to increase its presence in the region and keep on enhancing its support for resellers, integrators and channel members.
Brian Harrison, Director, Intel Europe Middle East and Africa said, “The inauguration of this office in Casablanca is testimony to the potential of the Moroccan market and our growing focus on the Middle East. We hope that our presence in Morocco will allow us to work more closely with regional governments and fellow travelers to keep on playing a role in promoting the development of the IT sector and driving ICT education in North Africa”.
“A key focus for our team in Morocco will be the channel” said Karim Fahmy, General Manager, Intel Egypt and North Africa. “We want to further develop our distribution network and increase our technical and marketing support activities for channel members to help them cater to the growing need for technology platforms in the region.”
The Morocco office will be part of the Egypt, Levant and North Africa region, which has already existing offices in Cairo and Beirut.
