The flights operated by three-class A330-300 will leave each Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 13.10 hrs local time from Frankfurt, and arrive in Bahrain at 20.00 hrs local time. On the same day, the flight will leave Bahrain at 20.50 hrs local time and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 22.50 hrs local time. The return flights will leave Abu Dhabi every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 00.15 local time and arrive in Bahrain at 00.20 local time. The flight follows on from Bahrain at 01.20 local time to Frankfurt at 06.20 local time. These timings enable travellers to make optimal connections with flights to popular destinations in Europe and the GCC region.
Mr. Uwe Wriedt, General Manager U.A.E, and Director for the Gulf and Pakistan said, “We are very glad to have our flight into a fruitful and promising market such as Bahrain. With the inclusion of the flights to Bahrain, this opens up a new dimension for us into the Bahrain market and our new and existing customers. Also it’s important to note that the Bahrain flights fly on different days than Dammam therefore ideally complementing the Dammam flight which for Dammam/Bahrain gives a total of six flights for the Eastern Province / Bahrain. Lufthansa is consistently continuing its strategy of flights to the world’s oil markets and growing industries. The German carrier is proud to say it now serves all destinations in the GCC region. In addition to Bahrain, the airline serves important markets like Doha, Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Muscat in the GCC region.”
