McDonald's United Arab Emirates (UAE) has opened a new restaurant at the Lulu Village, Dubai.
Restaurants in the UAE are Emarati owned and operated by the Emirates Fast Food Corporation. The American fast-food chain has been operating in the UAE since 1984 and currently has 29 restaurants across the Emirates.
All McDonald’s restaurant in the Arab World are locally owned and operation by Arab entrepreneurs, according to the company. Since it first started operations in the Middle East, the various McDonald's restaurants have had a significant impact on the local and regional economy. Every new restaurant requires an average investment of around three million Emirati dirhams ($816,771), and creates around 30 new jobs. — (menareport.com)
