National Bank of Dubai (NBD) account holders can now pay their Etisalat bills through direct debit with the bank following the launch of Etisalat’s newest bill payment option.
This direct debit payment option provides NBD account holders with complete peace of mind, knowing that their bills will be paid on time automatically every month.
Customers will continue to receive their bills every month, however it will indicate that settlement will be taken using direct debit on the due date. Each month Etisalat will advise NBD of the bill amount, which will be debited directly from the customers bank account.
“We have invested heavily over the last few years to ensure that our infrastructure is geared towards achieving the highest level of Customer Service,” commented Salim Al Sharhan, Executive Vice President Finance, Etisalat. “Making it easier to pay phone bills is just one of the many improvements implemented by the Corporation and there are now several ways to pay bills without even having to visit Etisalat. This new direct debit payment option exists for NBD account holders only at this stage, but there are already plans in place to extend the service to other banks in the UAE,” he added.
“The ‘NBD Direct Debit Service’ is the latest addition to the wide range of services offered by the Bank to its customers,” commented Ali Al Najjar, Senior Manager Liability Management National Bank of Dubai. “It reflects the firm commitment of the National Bank of Dubai to enhance its services, specially it’s electronic services, thus reinforcing customer’s convenience and peace of mind for their banking needs and in settling their utility bills.”
“For customers that prefer the human touch, there are still payment counters at Etisalat’s extensive network of over 43 branches, business centres and customer service centres accepting cash, credit cards and cheques,” continued Al Sharhan. (menareport.com)
