Oman’s new mobile company, renna, has kicked off its innovative campaign to further increase market awareness on the latest mobile company of choice as preparations prove to be in full force for their upcoming launch.
“The Mobile Reseller phenomenon is a new concept in the region and we are proud to be the first company providing customers with better and more choices, highlighting segment specific needs in the Middle East,” expressed renna CEO, Niklas Nielsen. “On behalf of the Board of Directors and Management, I would like to once again commend the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority for its progressive vision which has positioned the Sultanate as a pioneer in the telecommunications industry in the region.”
He added, “We have completed all necessary requirements, surpassed all challenges and are pleased to announce that the renna campaign is now in full gear.”
A series of activities are planned for the coming weeks in Muscat, Nizwa, Batinah, Sohar and Sur to prepare renna’s target customers for the new and differentiated products and services that will be introduced to the market. These activities are designed in the usual fun and inspiring renna style and include radio competitions, youth-oriented activities and cinema screenings. The campaign also comprises various renna stalls manned by dedicated multi-lingual teams to interact with potential customers and distribute fun renna branded items, all under the umbrella “renna coming soon”.
Nielsen concluded, “Our pre-launch campaign has been designed to encourage customers to stop and reflect on what is currently available in the market and to create awareness about what really matters when using a mobile phone therefore providing a glimpse of what can be expected when renna officially launches. We strongly believe that the renna offer is worth the wait and invite everyone to experience the difference and share the moment.”
