Palestinians in Lebanon gain access to social security fund

Palestinian refugees, who make up approximately ten per cent of the population in Lebanon, will be allowed access to the National Security Fund, according to a statement from the Interior Ministry.

The [Lebanese] Labor Ministry said Friday it would permit Palestinian refugees [2] who are registered at the Interior Ministry to benefit from the services of the National Social Security Fund.

“We inform [such] Palestinian refugees [3] that a separate fund has been founded at the NSSF for them to benefit from end of service, job termination and work accidents services, [4]” a statement said.
