Al-Futtaim Logistics, the market leading Logistics solutions provider, walked away with two of the biggest awards at the annual Supply Chain and Transport Awards (SCATA) 2013 ceremony organised by ITP Publishing, to honour the achievements of companies and individuals in the Middle East logistics industry.
The Al-Futtaim company was awarded the ‘Outstanding Achievement of the Year Award’ for its exceptional business performance, increased customer satisfaction, employee numbers, services and products and brand awareness.
Al-Futtaim Logistics also won the highly commended award for ‘3PL Service Provider of the Year’ for its consistent delivery of world class services, evidence of exceptional performance in the field of supply chain management, including storage, distribution and value added services.
The SCATA 2013 awards, which were held recently in Dubai, covers a total of 16 categories across the logistics, sea freight and air cargo sectors. Nominations are invited online and assessed by prestigious panel of experts, from the Middle East logistics industry.
