Al Bateen Executive Airport, operated and managed by Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), announced today that its Fixed Based Operator (FBO) facility DhabiJet was ranked second best in the world by the prestigious European Business Air News(EBAN) magazine’s FBO Survey 2013.
Up from fourth place last year, 35,000 ofthe magazine’s aircraft owners and readers,who voted online and via printed questionnaire, put Al Bateen’s DhabiJet FBO in second place ahead of many bigger, and longer established international brands. The survey received votes for a total of 328 facilities in Europe, the Middle East, Russia and Africa, ranking DhabiJet the best FBO in the Middle East Region.
In celebration of this achievement,H.E. AliMajed Al Mansouri, Chairman of ADAC, said: “For the second year running, DhabiJet was ranked on the top five list of premier FBOs around the world. This is an accolade for ADAC and the entire team at Al Bateen,marking their continuous efforts and commitment to providing the highest levels of FBO services to visiting aircraft, passengers and crew.”

Al Bateen’s accomplishment follows a record year in 2012, which saw an 11% increase in overall commercial aviation movements compared with 2011.
