Burgan Bank announced today that it is sponsoring for the second time Microsoft’s annual Imagine Cup, an international premier student technology competition that is aimed at encouraging students to use their creativity and passion to present solutions for many of the world’s toughest challenges.
The concept of the ‘Imagine Cup’ competition inspires students from around the world to solve the world’s issues through the use of technology, in which programmers, designers and technologists are called on to rise to the challenge. Through this sponsorship, Burgan Bank will aid in the development and encouragement of young business savvy individuals to creatively search for solutions to real problems affecting the world. This will be accomplished by research, brainstorming, design elements, as well as finding the right mechanics suitable to tackle the respective issues.
