Emirates General Petroleum Corporation "Emarat", at its headquarters in Dubai, to examine the possibility of obtaining lubricants and related products from Emarat.
GOIL is an oil company of Ghana with majority shares owned by the Govt. of Ghana. The company operates in the areas of Petroleum fuels such as Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosine, Fuel Oil and Lubricants and special products. It is considered a leading lubricant supplier of Ghana.
The delegation comprised of Mr. Kojo Bonsu, Managing Director and Mr. Alex Josiah Adzew, Technical & Special Products Manager. During two days of discussions and deliberations, the delegation met Mr. Abdulrahman Qassim Al Ali, Commercial Sales Manager and other officials at Emarat. Mr. Abdulrahman welcomed the delegation and assured Emarat's resolve to strengthen cooperation with GOIL and to exchange experiences with them. Emarat has also provided a list of lubricating oils and related products which can be supplied on a regular basis to GOIL ex Emarat’s Lube Blending Plant.
The delegation then made a field trip to the Middle East Lubricants Co ("Melubco") in Jebel Ali where the officials were able to see the processes involved in blending of lubricants, production and filling lines, quality controls, storage and shipping facilities, etc.
Mr. Abdulrahman Qassim Al Ali reiterated the keenness of Emarat to provide the highest quality of lubricants at their best possible prices. Development of new products meeting various newer technical specifications has been an on-going effort at Emarat as its products reach many of the GCC counties and beyond, he said.
