The Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping and entertainment destination and the flagship development of Emaar Malls Group, is showcasing a diverse array of colourful entertainment activities to mark its Eid Al Adha celebration.
Joining hands with key retailers, apart from the mall-driven entertainment events, The Dubai Mall will offer its visitors a diversity of choices – from traditional activities that underline the Emirate’s rich heritage to lifestyle showcases including fashion shows and celebrity exhibitions.

As one of the most popular family shopping and leisure destinations in the city, the mall is offering added reason to celebrate the festive occasion with family through our colourful spectrum of activities.”
In addition to the entertainment activities, shoppers can take part in the Dubai Shopping Malls Group UAE National Day promotion. The 40-day campaign to continue through Dec. 2 will offer 40 lucky winners the opportunity to win AED 40,000 in cash prizes and gift vouchers by spending AED 200. Four weekly draws will be held on Nov. 6, 17, 24 and Dec. 2.
Among the traditional activities to mark Eid Al Adha from Nov. 6 to 10 include Arabic hospitality tents that serve coffee and dates, in various locations of the mall. Visitors can also take part in henna painting, watch falcon displays and listen to the soothing melody of oud, qanoon and piano players. There will be roaming entertainment featuring over 28 characters apart from face painters, balloon benders, stilt walkers, clowns and caricaturists that will delight the little ones and adults alike.
Hamleys, the leading toys retailer, which has a flagship store in the mall, will host the Eid Movie Mania with different children’s movies to be screened daily. There will be arts and crafts activities, interactive games, face painting and glitter tattoos, balloon benders and competitions to entertain the kids.
Also for children is the 1001 Nights Kid Show to be held at Star Atrium with a show on Sinbad the Sailor, storytelling sessions, arts and crafts workshops and a photo booth.
Art lovers will cherish the Salvador Dali exhibition which brings illustrious works by the surrealist artist to the mall as well as John Lobb’s ‘Spirit of Capitals’ exhibition at the Fashion Avenue. Bloomingdale’s continues its ‘NY NY’ promotional exhibition while Tag Heuer is hosting an international exhibition at the Gold Souk Atrium. Hermes will add to the fashion quotient with an exhibition at the Fashion Catwalk.
The Dubai Mall is also hosting a special social media Eid promotion, whereby fans can post a picture of their favourite attractions at the mall that they like to visit during Eid Al Adha. Fans can vote on the pictures and the entries that win the maximum votes stand to receive AED 15,000 in National Bonds.
