Emirates Islamic Bank, one of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the region, announced today the launch of its Mobile Banking via iPhone, - another technological milestone for the bank. The new application allows customers using iPhone, to conveniently access online banking from their Smartphone while on the move.
The new Arabic-enabled application is a first-of-its-kind offering from an Islamic bank in the UAE.
To activate the service, the Emirates Islamic Bank application can be downloaded from the Apple “App Store.” customers can then enjoy a host of features that enable Online Banking anytime, anywhere, by using their Internet Banking user ID and Password. With this new mobile application, customers can access services including Account Inquiry, Account Transfers, Utility Bill Payment, Credit Card Services and much more. Customers can also get Branch & ATM locations as well as exchange rates on-the-go.

This new mobile application for Apple iPhone, provides an additional banking platform, designed to deliver the convenience of banking while on the move.”

The application is the latest addition to Emirates Islamic Bank’s numerous banking channels, which include branch services, online banking, ATMs, Cash & Cheque Deposit Machines, SMS Banking, Call Centre and Interactive Voice Response (IVR).
