Dubai Ladies Club, a member of Dubai Women Establishment, will be celebrating this year’s International Women’s Day by drawing attention to women’s health for a productive and happy life at the 3rd annual Dubai Ladies Club Wellness Day held in association with Samsung Home Appliances, a market leader in the Home Appliance industry.
Wellness Day will be held on Saturday, March 3 from 09:00 am until sundown. Entry to the event is complementary and open to ladies only. Wellness Day is co-sponsored by Porsche and the Wellness Walk is sponsored by CosmeSurge.
Dubai Ladies Club’s annual Wellness Day is a unique concept selectively combining fun and health awareness to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles. This year promises to be more exciting than ever with a variety of attractions such as indoor and outdoor fitness classes,
healthy snacks and refreshments and an extraordinary Wellness Walk which will offer complimentary health screenings to all visitors. Moreover, this year will also see the inclusion of a dedicated Kids Wellness Zone with a variety of children-focused activities and services. The Kids Wellness Zone will comprise of over 10 booths, offering a large selection of free comprehensive health risk services and products targeted at the health and wellbeing of your children.

Samsung Home Appliances will also be promoting wellness and healthy living by providing healthy recipes and organic meals to visitors during an all day live cooking demonstration. Samsung will also give away raffle prizes and host a cooking competition where four women will be competing to win an Omni Pro Microwave. On 3rd March, ladies are also invited to take advantage of the large selection of free comprehensive health risk assessments and screenings to help ladies with early detection and disease prevention. Wellness Walk will provide diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, spinal and osteoporosis screenings, and also examine patients for oral care, provide referrals for mammograms and pap smears, and offer consultations with doctors and pharmacists as the first step towards early detection and disease prevention. The intention behind Wellness Walk was aimed at creating awareness on the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle and the need for regular medical check-ups.
Guests at Wellness Day will also be automatically entered into a raffle draw comprising of spectacular prizes. This event is free for Dubai Ladies Club members and non-members and is open to ladies and children only.
Since its inception in 2003, Dubai Ladies Club has consistently worked towards improving the quality of life of Emirati and expatriate women living in the UAE through in-house events, facilities and pilot projects.
