National Bank of Fujairah donates essentials to seafarers this Ramadan

National Bank of Fujairah handed out 1,000 gift packs to workers and seafarers at the Port of Fujariah and Dubai Creek last week as part of a Ramadan charity drive conducted by the bank, which saw staff donating and gift-wrapping essentials ranging from toiletries to dates. 

Alan Maitland Smith, NBF’s Head of Internal Audit and Chairman of its CSR Committee, said that the drive was part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to give back to the community. The bank recently donated AED 100,000 to the Angel Appeal, a charitable initiative that cares for seafarers off the east coast of the UAE.
