Restaurants at The Pearl-Qatar, the Middle East’s most glamorous address, have reaffirmed their position as the country’s favorite dining destinations, shining at the prestigious Time Out Doha Awards.
Newly opened Midori, the Japanese restaurant in Porto Arabia, took out Best Newcomer in the awards held at the St. Regis Doha last week.
Pampano, also operated by Hospitality Development Company (HDC), a fully owned subsidiary of United Development Company (UDC), the master developer of The Pearl-Qatar, received the “Highly Commended” certificate in the Best South American category.
The Time Out Doha Awards are held yearly and honor the best in Qatar’s dining and hospitality industry. The 2012 Awards were held at the newly opened St. Regis Doha and were attended by more than 500 people.
Fabian Coronado, Manager of Pampano, accepted the awards on behalf of HDC and The Pearl-Qatar.
“It gives us immense pleasure for our restaurants to be honored for the second year in a row,” Coronado said. “The Pearl-Qatar offers some of the finest dining experiences in Doha and HDC and partners will continue to offer our residents and visitors the very best in international and locally based restaurants.”
The Pearl-Qatar is home to more than 25 dining outlets covering the full range of cuisines from South American to French/Lebanese through to casual options such as Alison Nelson’s Coffee Bar.
