Ramada Downtown Dubai joined the rest of the world in observing Breast Cancer Awareness Month by engaging in a series of activities aimed at raising awareness about the disease.
Female associates of the hotel were wearing breast cancer ribbon pin and adorned the lobby with pink decorations throughout the month of October to express support. Pink shower cards which centre on the breast cancer awareness theme were also distributed to encourage support from the guests.
To cap off the activities, Ramada Downtown led by Farooq Payara, Director of Sales and Revenue, and Twinkle Akharia, Sales and Marketing Executive, paid a visit to the Gulf International Cancer Hospital in Abu Dhabi and spent a day with the breast cancer patients and their families. The team also gave away souvenirs and confectionaries while sharing different inspiring stories with the patients during the visit.
