Samsung Electronics plans to unveil a Tri band, General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) enabled handset with built-in camera for the Middle East market. The SGH-V200 mobile phone will allow users to communicate via audio, image, text-based data or the Internet, with its built-in Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) 1.2-compliant browser.
For visual display, the Samsung SGH-V200 features an embedded digital camera that displays images over a thin film diode liquid crystal display (TFD-LCD). The TFD-LCD shows 65,000 colors at 128 x 160 resolutions. For audio, the SGH-V200 features 40-polyphonic ring tones. It also allows users to upload songs to use as a ring tone. — (menareport.com)
