His Excellency Mr Sami Al Qamzi, Director General, Department of Economic Development (DED), honoured the distinguished staff recognised at the Job Supremacy Competition 2010 launched by the Corporate Quality & Management Excellence to strengthen staff performance and encourage the employees to exert more efforts at work.
The initiative comes in line with DED’s commitment to provide a supportive environment for personal growth and human resource development by identifying and nurturing employees who make valuable contributions to the overall improvement of DED’s services to auditors and clients.
The Corporate Quality & Management Excellence launched the fourth cycle of Job Supremacy Competition 2010 early last year. The criteria of the competition included performance & achievement, initiative & creativity, cooperation & commitment, teamwork and responsibility.
The employees honoured were: Dr Ashraf Mahati (Distinguished Specialised Employee) from Dubai Export Development Corporation; Ibtihal Naji (Distinguished Administrative Employee) from Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for SME Development (MBRE); Khadija Warsama (Distinguished Female Employee) from MBRE; Ahmed Tamer (Distinguished Technical Employee) from IT Division, and Amal Tawfik (Distinguished Executive Employee) from the IT Division in DED.
