ENOC goes off-road to raise money for charity

ENOC has teamed up with Arabian Automobiles Company, distributor of Nissan, Infiniti and Renault in UAE, to organise the third edition of “Xplore UAE”, an off-road driving event for charity. 

Open to the public, the event will take place on Friday, February 4 from 7:00 a.m till 10:00 p.m with all proceeds going to charity. The tickets are priced at Dhs 250 for adults and Dhs150 for children under 12. 

Saeed Abdullah Khoory, ENOC’s Chief Executive Officer said that support to the charity drive is part of ENOC’s ongoing strategy for strengthening active community engagement. He said: “The fun and philanthropic off-road event in Ras Al Khaimah will be a great occasion for UAE residents to come together for a noble cause. The money raised will go towards assisting poor families, widows, and orphans, and children with special needs” 

The charity drive starts with breakfast at Golden Tulip Khatt Springs in Ras Al Khaimah, proceeds to a mountain and wadi drive in Ras Al Khaimah, followed by lunch and desert drive. It ends with an action-packed night of entertainment at Al Hamra Fort Hotel.  

Michel Ayat, CEO of Arabian Automobiles Company, said: “Our long-standing relationship with ENOC is recognised through this event with both companies committed to supporting sections of the society who are needy and less fortunate. With over 500 participants, we look forward to another successful edition of Xplore UAE this year.” 

‘Xplore UAE’ is one of many community initiatives supported by ENOC to reach out and raise funds for less fortunate individuals across the UAE. Last year, the event raised AED 85,000 in donations, which were provided to Rashid Paediatric Centre.
