The new Syrian TV film Al Badawi (the Bedouin) depicts the story of a French young man who visits Syria to write about his father’s life and memories there, according to the daily Syria Times.
The young man, Rimi, discovers following the death of his father, the French businessman who descends of a Syrian origin, that his father had special memories in Syria. This encourages the young man to visit Syria to write about his father’s life in the Syrian city of Raqqa.
At the end of the film, Rimi discovers that his visit to Syria was the will of his father who wanted his son to return to his roots and live in Syria.
The film was scripted by Mamdouh Odwan, directed by Maamoun Al Bunni and costarring Jihad Saad, Laila Jaber and Rafi Wahba – Albawaba.com
