Despite the fact that young Egyptian actor Ahmad al Saqqa is accustomed to presenting roles of good quality and usually he is satisfied with his performance, the actor is for the first time during his career stating that he is disappointed with the outcome of his latest film “The Dealer”. Filming for the film had lasted over two years due to it encountering so many obstacles leading many referred to it as the jinxed film.
According to the London based Elaph, Ahmad stated that he will not go to the movies to watch the film and he will not work with the director of the film again. The actor added that he will not add his role in the film as part of his career and will try to forget he ever took part in it.
Ahmad added that the reason behind his refusal to work with the director of the film is the fact that the director had taken out many of the scenes that he was in, making the story line weak and not as it was written in the scenario. Ahmad said that when he had read the script of the film he was very eager to begin filming but the outcome was completely the opposite of what he had anticipated.
