According to the Egyptian based daily, Al Ahram, Ahmad stressed that his ultimate goal is to be able to present more serious films that aim at giving out a message of some kind, but in the meantime he is concentrating his ability on what he does best, which is comedy films. Ahmad revealed that he was very thankful for the significant success of his latest film “Zaki Shan”, which achieved millions of Egyptian pounds in profit.
Ahmad noted that he is reading film scripts in hoping of finding one that will suit his character and be as successful as his previous films. The magazine wrote that disputes between the couple had erupted over the fact that Muna refused her husband’s demands of quitting her job and becoming a housewife in order to take care of their home and only daughter Lilly.
Ahmad stressed that he has hired a lawyer to take the case and that this will mark the first time that he presses charges against the press, but this time he felt rumors have gotten out of hand negatively affecting his personal life.
