Egyptian actor Ahmad Zaki, who is being treated for lung cancer, has encountered a severe heart attack that called for his immediate admittance into the ICU. Egyptian doctor Hassan Mitwali, who is one of the supervising doctors of Egyptian Ahmad Zaki' health condition, revealed that the heart attack occurred the moment the actor heard the news of the decease of Egyptian prominent actor Mahmoud Mursi, revealed the Egyptian based daily, Al Gomhourya.
It was revealed that the singer's condition deteriorated severely and he is now under strict and direct supervision, after he experienced problems in his respiratory system. Doctors have not yet determined the outcome of Ahmad's status, but they are hopeful he will recover soon. Just a few days ago, doctors had announced that the singer was improving significantly and that his immunity was increasing. Egyptian doctor Hassan Mitwali, another doctor supervising Zaki's condition, had revealed that the actor is gradually improving and is showing positive signs for a fast recovery, adding that the actor frequently leaves the hospital for personal visits.
It had been revealed that the medical team in charge of Ahmad’s condition has succeeded in increasing his immune system, which has been showing constant decline as is the case with most cancer patients during chemotherapy. The actor has now begin stage seven of his chemotherapy, after it was postponed due to the low immunity he was experiencing.
The actor and his doctors are currently waiting for the results of the reports that were sent to France in an attempt to try a new method of treatment. Dr. Yasser Abdul Kader, who directly supervises Ahmad’s condition, has sent the latest test results of the actor’s condition to his French doctor, which show that his immune system is not improving with his treatment. The French doctor demanded that the test results be sent in the soonest time possible to begin the new stage of treatment and help the condition of the actor improve. –Albawaba.com
