The Palestinian singer Amar Hasan has started working on his second album. According to the London daily Elaph, Amar finished recording two songs that were composed by Husam Al Bijrmi. The first is called “Badat Ahis” (I Started Feeling) and was written by Ahmad Obeid. The second is called “Sotoor Al Waraq” (Lines on Papers) and was written by Abed Al Aziz Amar.
Amar will sing in the Egyptian dialect for the first time on his new album, to try and reach the 30 million young Egyptian music fans.
Amar drew attention when he recently performed with the famous Syrian singer Asala Nasri in the “Al Damir Al Arabi” (Arab Dignity) operetta that included 30 Arab singers.
Amar is a graduate of the second season of the music talent show “Superstar.”
His first album, “Helm Kabeer” (Large Dream), was distributed by the music production company ‘Rotana.’ Amar sang in the Palestinian, Lebanese and Khaliji dialects. The album included eight songs written and composed by various Lebanese poets and composers like Nihad Najar, Samir Sfair, Haitham Ziad and Yaser Jalal. He also worked with the late Lebanese musician Azar Habib.
