The Twitter announcement came as good news to Amr's fans who have been waiting for him to release a record since 'Banadeek Tala' (I Am Calling You Come) took the airwaves by storm last September.
It has been a busy year for Amr, who has worked hard collaborating with song writers Baha Al Din Mohammad and Majdi Al Najjar to try and recreate the magic of his last release.
The singer said 'Bayen in Salama' will be the first single from the record, and his followers were excited to hear that 'Ala Rahtak' (As You Please) will also feature.
But, some fans were left disappointed with news that he will not be including popular songs 'Ana wa Hiya' (Me and Her) and 'Haqdar Ab'id' (I Will Be Able to Leave).
With Amr yet to decide on a name for the record and pressure from fans mounting, it's going to be a busy few months for the star!
What do you think we can expect from Amr's new album? Will it be more of the same or do you think he'll surprise us with something different?
