Egyptian superstar Amr Diab  recently held a grand performance despite demonstrations taking place on the same day. Security for the concert was given to a private company instead of Egyptian police, due to the unstable political conditions.
As one of the Arab world’s most prolific singers , Diab celebrated the passing of thirty years since he entered the entertainment world and began his path to stardom.
The concert is the last the Diab will hold until the release of his new album, which is scheduled to be launched during the Muslim holiday Eid El Fitr that follows after the holy month of Ramadan.
According to the Middle East news portal, the concert was the biggest held in Cairo in the past months and was organized by popular concert agent Walid Mansour.
Amr sang a collection of his most popular hits and promised his fans a big performance once his album is released.
