In more Ramadan TV riveting news, one fine actor is still filming his way through the fasting month in a race against the hunger clock! Ten days into Ramadan - a time when most Ramadan soaps  are wrapped up and ready for delivery in full to the respective TV stations - the up-and-come actor Amr Saad  is still shooting his series "Khurm Ibreh" (Eye of the Needle). It's been a bit of a squeeze true to title form, as the show, significantly behind schedule, is already playing on our TVs. Meanwhile, the actor carries on sweating it out in the Al Maghribi studios. Beaming out on multiple Arab satellite channels, the series has fared well in the Ramadan ratings . From the actor's point of view, it adds a totally unique experience to his still-ripe repertoire. In Eye of the Needle, the overnight young actor adopts the role of a folklore singer. The series follows the hopes of a young mechanic, who dreams of becoming rich effortlessly. (Perhaps he has not heard of the stressed world economy and that having great expectations of affluent benefactors went out of fashion in a different century). He dumps his day job which never did much for him anyway before setting out to seek his fortune by inviting himself into the lives of the wealthy. Long story short, he fails and his castles in the air start to pop. "Khurm Ibreh" stars Amr Saad, Hala Fhaker, Ahmad Rateb, Hussam Dhager, Ahmad Siyam, Mohsen Mansour, Hussam Shaban, Rihab Al Jamal and is directed by Ibrahim Fhaker.
