Anoshka denies involvement with former Minister of Interior

Egyptian singer Anoshka has filed a lawsuit against the Egyptian
weekly newspaper “Sawt Al Ummah” (Voice of the People) for publishing an
article claiming that she was married in secret to the former Egyptian Minister
of Interior Habeeb Al Adli.

According to the London based Elaph, Anoshka said in the
complaint she filed that what was said in the newspaper is mere lies and the
paper’s allegation that it has solid evidence, which is a copy of the marriage
certificate, is considered an insult to her and has caused her psychological as
well as financial damage.

Anoshka demanded that the paper and those responsible for
publishing the article be prosecuted and compensate her for all damage caused.
