An elite group of art and singing stars in the Arab world will participate in the national operetta Amman in the Hearts which will be held Saturday at the Royal Cultural Center’s Main Theater under the auspices of King Abdulla II, according to the London based Arabic daily al Sahrq al Awsat.
Among the participant stars are Ali Abdel Sattar, Abdulla al Ruwaished, Assala Nasri, Ghada Ragab and Thekra in addition to a number of guests of honors from the TV and cinema stars in the Arab world.
The concert will be presented by George Kurdahi.
The 45-minute operetta has been produced by the Jordanian Amal Establishment for Art Production in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture. It was scripted by poet Habib al Zuyoodi and composed by singer Omar al Abdullat.
Each singer will be given three minutes and a half within a performance he sings in the dialect, style and national dress of his country.
The Arab guest artists will participate together in the concluding ceremony -- Albawaba.com
