Algerian singer Fulah stated at a news conference she held in Dubai that Syrian singer Asalah and her husband Tareq EL Aryan helped her enter Egypt. The Algerian singer will be in Egypt next week; where she was denied any permission to enter Egypt for the past 12 years.
Fulah had the news conference at the “Bostan Rotana Hotel” (Rotana Garden Hotel). Journalist mainly asked about why she has been away from the spotlight in the past few months.
She also talked about her love and admiration of Lebanese singer Walid Tawfiq, emphasizing that she respects him and stated “my love for him can’t be described”. She also says that through him she was introduced to the eastern part of the Arab world through the song “Ya Lail”.
According to the London daily Elaph, Fulah stated that she would also like to work with other singers like: Hussein El Jismy, or Abu Baker Salem, and Muhammad Abdoh; where she made clear that she was the first to sing a duet with El Chab Khaled on the show “Taratata”.
Fulah usually makes an album once every two years, because she likes to take her time in choosing the songs and tending to the smallest details. She wants her albums to be of good quality; therefore she writes the song and composes it herself.
Fulah just finished filming her latest song “Inta Habibi” (You Are My Love). The song was produced by Fadi Haddad and was filmed in Lebanon.
