Cairo and Alex go classical music mad this month

The Cairo Symphony Orchestra sets out another stellar schedule, including Beethoven and Chopin in the capital.

Taking the audience to the works of the Romantic era of classical music, the Cairo Symphony Orchestra [2] will perform Ludwig van Beethoven's Coriolan Overture, Op 62; Frédéric Chopin's Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 1 in E minor, Op. 11 and Franz Schubert's Symphony No. 5 in B flat Major, D485.

The soloist of the evening will be one of the renowned Czech pianists, Jan Simon.
