Did Latifa succeed in taking away the jinx?

It seems that the sheep that Latifa slaughtered at Carthage Stage the day before her concert succeeded in taking away the jinx that followed her at her Jerash concert. She failed to attract the Jordanian fans, yet her Carthage concert was a great success. Least to say that Carthage is in her mother country Tunisia and her Tunisian fans would not let her down and she was surprised to see the large numbers of fans shouting for her.

 According to the London daily Elaph, Latifa made an unusual entrance by riding a cart pulled by two black horses and she was accompanying Tunisian actress Dalanda who kept cheering and lit up “Bakhor” (incense) and the smoke was preceding Latifa till she got up on stage.

 Latifa was dressed in a white elegant dress and her concert went on till the late hours of the night. The Maestro Khaled Fouad and a number of male and female dancers that were with her in Lebanon accompanied her. Latifa saluted the Tunisian fans by starting out with “Al Homah Al Arabi” (Arabic Rural Neighborhoods” song and followed it with a number of her old and new songs.

 A number of artists were present at Latifa’s concert and they gave her a short visit behind the scenes and large bouquet of flowers. After Carthage, Latifa’s schedule in Tunisia is packed for the summer.
