When fans of Egyptian actress, Donia Abdel Aziz, noticed she was missing from the usual Ramadan dramas [2] they started to worry about their favorite star. Donia's people put out a statement to say the actress was busy taking on a new role as a TV presenter but now the real reason for her absence has been revealed: she's in love!
In a quiet ceremony at her home, away from the media glare, Donia has got engaged to a police officer [3]. The star decided to invite only her nearest and dearest, including a few from the entertainment world. It's a big contrast to the glitzy affairs of some of her fellow celebrities but Donia was happier to be around childhood friends than big names for this most important event.
