The International Music Festival organized by the French Cultural League in Dubai will kick off next Friday with the participation of more than 100 musicians and 16 musical troupes, according to the daily al Bayan.
The festival will begin with the youngest music players, Jack Nelson (5) and Louis Sharpi (11), as each of them will play separate music pieces on the piano. Then the Lebanese lute player George Karam will carry the audience to the eastern music world.
Broken String Troupe will take us back to the sixties and seventies through performing classics and masterpieces from the Rock and roll music golden age.
The French singer Auro Deeb who came from France to Dubai four years ago will participate in the festival.
The Coral Harmony Dubai Group will present some of its works known as Acapila music, a singing style not accompanied with music but the four sound pitch make the cadence.
The pop music from England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland will be presented by the multinational Dubai Singers Troupe. There is also participation by Majaz for Jazz Troupe which is comprised of musicians from various nationalities living in Dubai as they will play eastern Jazz music and Latin music. The Armenian Norir Cazandjian will sing French, Arabic, Armenian, English and Italian songs. Crash Troupe will play Rock music while the Ethiopian Black Rotsi will take the audience to the African Rhythm world – Albawaba.com
