Egypt, UAE to Produce Joint TV Artworks

The Media Production City Board Chief, Abdel Rahman Hafez agreed during his visit to the United Arab Emirate with Dubai TV officials to produce a number of drama artworks to be implemented under a joint production system. 

Hafez also met with a number of producers and distributors in the private sector in Abu Dhabi to set a future cooperation plan between the two sides. 

“The agreement on joint production was taken seriously as three series projects were finalized few days ago. These included Ayna Albi (Where is My Heart) starring Yusra and directed by Magdi Abu A’mirah, al Khabithah (Cunning) starring Mahmoud Qabil and directed by Ahmed al Nahhas. This is in addition to Egri Egri (Run! Run) costarring Ahmed Bedair and Abdel Mine’m Madbouli under the direction of Badriddin. 

Hafez asserted that his tour in the UAE included also an agreement to prepare unique programs for Dubai TV. He indicated that these series are being implemented by the Media Production City studios, which would be fully utilized in future for indefinite period of time -- Albawaba.com
