Young Libyan rising singer Aiman Al A’atar, who won the title of Arab Superstar 2004 on the popular show Superstar 2 on the Lebanese satellite channel Future, has arrived in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Qatar to take part in the Sixth Annual Doha Music Festival. Aiman’s participation was very much criticized due to the fact that he is not considered to be qualified enough to sing alongside the big names taking part in the event.
The General Manager of the festival stressed that Aiman is considered to be a talented and very promising singer, and the festival is honored to be the first place the young singer makes a public appearance, adding that his performance is expected to find great success. Upon his arrival Aiman held interviews with the Qatari television and journalists from the media, where he talked about his honor at being chosen to sing in such a major event considering it the highlight of his new career.
Before going up to his hotel room to get some rest, Aiman insisted on paying a visit to prominent Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker, whom he holds very high respect for. Fadel wholeheartedly welcomed Aiman and congratulated him for being invited to sing at the festival. Fadel also congratulated Aiman for releasing his first album, which witnessed enormous sales.
A warm conversation occurred between the two and Fadel revealed his intention on composing a song for Aiman in the near future. Fadel gave some advice to Aiman as he starts his new career stressing that he should always be confident in himself and not pay too much attention to the nonsense that usually occurs in the entertainment world.
