Young and up-coming actress Farah is getting ready to begin her second project, a film entitled Haffar El Bahr (The Offshore Drill), reported Al Fan Al Sabe’e magazine.
According to the Egyptian publication, the movie revolves around Egyptian oil field workings. The film marks the first time a movie takes on the issue of petrol (gasoline) and people who live and work on oil platforms in the middle of the sea.
Haffar El Bahr will be shot within the beginning of 2001 at the petroleum site, Abu Radees, next to the Suez Canal.
The cast of the film includes director Adel Al A’asar, and screenplay writer Salah Fouad.
Playing alongside Farah, will be various big names such as Faruq El Fishawi, Jamil Rateb, Abdul Aziz Makhyoun and Ala Mursi. – Albawaba.com.
