George Wasoof back in Lebanon

The great Lebanese artist George Wasoof returned to Lebanon to give one of the great performances of this summer season. Wassof’s concert was held at “Al Fardous Restaurant” located in northern Lebanon.

According to the London daily Elaph, Wasoof has not performed in Lebanon for the past five years because of the security crises.

There was hysteria among his fans when he appeared, over a 1,000 fans showed up at the restaurant. it took Al Wasoof 15 minutes to get up on stage because of the large crowds.

For two hours and a half Al Wasoof sang for his fans some of her greatest songs from his new album “Kalamak Ya Habibi” (Your Statement My Love) and some of his best old songs. Al Wasoof also sang for legendary singers like Abed Al Halim, Wardah, Um Kalthoum and also Lebanese folklore music.

Famous Lebanese singer Carole Samaha and the Lebanese co-host Nishan were also there to hear Al Wasoof.

Lebanese singer Rula Saed gave the opening performance.
