A Cairo court has made a verdict in favor of Egyptian actress Ghada Abdel Razik and her son in law officer Mohammad Al Shal in the case filed against them by director Mohammad Sami that claimed they had brutally arranged for his assault at his home. The court did fine Ghada and her son-in-law and Mohammad Sami about $2,000 for use of foul language against each other.
According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, the verdict was made after both sides filed lawsuits against each other during disputes that broke out while Ghada was filming the scenes of her past Ramadan television drama "Hekayat Hayat" (Hayat's Story), which was directed by Sami.
Attempts were made to contact Sami to see whether he will file an appeal for the verdict, especially after he presented the court with medical documents proving he was assaulted physically, but efforts to reach him failed. The director is said to be outside the country filming a new drama "Kalam Ala Waraq" (Words on Paper) starring Lebanese diva Haifa Wehbe .
On her part, Ghada also turned off her phone to avoid making any public statement regarding the court verdict.
Ghada has another reason to rejoice right now. In addition to celebrating an innocent verdict, the starlet is excited to announce that her daughter has given birth to her second baby named "Juwairieh". Ghada Facebooked a pic of her daughter at a hospital in Dubai , which has received thousands of likes, hundreds of shares, and many, many comments of congratulations.
The proud grandma had been by her daughter 'Rotana's' side on a daily basis the last months of her pregnancy in Dubai, only leaving for Egypt to film a few episodes for different programs and attend some social events.
