After her huge success on the small screen and on stage, Egyptian actress Ghada Abdul Razeq, known for her outstanding performance in "Hag Mitwalli's Family", is gearing up for the shooting of three movies, marking her debut on the big screen.
"I hope I will succeed on the big screen just as I did in the series 'Hag Miwalli's Family' and in the play 'Tara ee o', which are both still hugely successful since their debut last year," Abdul Razeq told the UAE daily, Al Bayan, last week.
The movie "Sayad Al Akareb" (Scorpions' Hunter), with Farouq Al Fishawi, Mustafa Shaaban, and Sawsan Badr, will be the first project Abdul Razeq will begin. The other two movies will be "Aasheq Al Raml" (The Sand's Lover), with Mohammed Riyadh, Shereen, and Ahmed Rizeq, and "Katel Taht Al Tajruba" (A Killer Under Assessment), with Hasan Husni, Nermine Al Faqi and Hala Shiha.
Earlier this month, the Egyptian Censorship Board has threatened the actress with legal action if she continues to ignore warnings issued against her over the 'revealing' outfits (which are deemed by them as 'Shameless') she appears in in her play 'Tara ee o', starring Mohammed Henaidi, Hanan Turk and Medhat Saleh. – Albawaba.com
