Egyptian actress Ghada Adel has denied circulating rumors that her husband betrayed her and a huge fight had broken out as a result. The actress stated that the press has transformed a small marital dispute into a major one that according to the media is heading towards disaster.
According to the London based Elaph, Ghada stressed at a press conference held for the launch of filming her upcoming movie "Ja'alitni Mujrima" (You Turned me into a Criminal) that she and her husband, producer and director Majdi Al Huwari, have been married for the past ten years with children and what goes on in her home is of no ones business.
The actress noted that she wished people would not interfere in her private life, and interpreted the ridiculous rumors as a result of jealousy from individuals who do not want to see her succeed.
Rumors had it that Ghada had caught her husband red handed cheating on her with a new actress in one of the hotels in Alexandria – Egypt, where Majdi was working on a new film.
Ghada had recently completed the action film “Hero,” written by Mohammad Hafthi and directed by her husband Majdi.
Ghada had chosen the film because it reflects the real life story of a school teacher. While on a field trip with her students in the great outdoors they encounter a dangerous gang, and the teacher successfully defends her students with all of her might.
Ghada took acting lessons to prepare for her role in the film.
Ghada announced that she and her husband have agreed to make a new film about the life of Princess Diana. Ghada will play the role of Diana and the film will be translated to English and Arabic to allow international screening.
Ghada refused to reveal the identity of the remaining cast, but did reveal that the film depicts the late princess’s life from the time of her marriage to prince Charles until her death in the tragic car accident with friend Dodi Al Fayed in Paris.
